The leading food exhibitions in Bulgaria and Southeastern Europe – Meatmania, World of Milk, Bulpek, Salon de Vin, Interfood & Drink are to indicate yet another year of great interest on behalf of both traditional and new exhibitors. This was announced by the Inter Expo Centre exhibition complex in Sofia.
The branch organizations in each sector are in preparation of a number of events which will provide current information about trends in each sector.
Inter Expo Centre brings together all individual efforts, providing good business opportunities with an extensive business program, demonstrations and tastings.
This will be a year of high interest, with strong participation of Bulgarian companies – manufacturers, representatives, distributors and retailers of food, beverages, equipment and technologies. Some collective booths will present products of Bulgarian meat and dairy processors, wine producers, processors of fruits and vegetables, and organic producers. The collective booths will be a good option for presenting foreign partners at the exhibition – there are already such booths of companies from Italy and Hungary.
The specialized ORGANIC ZONE with certified organic products will offer an extended selection of products for everyone. The Diet & Fitness Zone is specialized for dietetic food and drinks for healthy eating or sports nutrition.
Currently there is a side events program under preparation, with interesting topics and events. Some of the highlights of the exhibition this year will be the Gold Medal with Diploma Contest for high-quality and original market products and / or additives and the Consumer Contest. The useful side events program will be awaiting the participants of the exhibitions – seminars, presentations, demonstrations, workshops and tastings.
The five exhibitions in the food sector are held in parallel with SIHRE – the specialized exhibition for hotel, restaurant and catering equipment. This optimizes the opportunities for useful contacts for exhibitors and consumers of products and services in both sectors – the food sector and the HoReCa industry.
The exhibitions were visited by 16,472 visitors last year. They had meetings with 374 exhibitors representing products by 348 companies. Among visitors there were specialists and guests from Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Turkey, Serbia, Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo, Croatia, Russia, Moldova, Ukraine, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Poland, Germany, Italy, France, Spain UK, Netherlands, Argentina, South Africa, and China.
