  1. MSP MAGAZINE: WOULD YOU PLEASE INFORM OUR READERS, WHAT WAS YOUR MAIN FOCUS AT IFFA 2016? WHAT DID YOU PRESENT THERE?

    At IFFA 2016, LASKA presented the new Vacuum Emulsifier, the advancement of the renowned LASKA NanoCutter series and convincing with its versatile applications. In addition to two production lines for fine sausage meat and minced meat, the new award-winning filling station for E2 boxes was presented at IFFA for the first time. With this facility, LASKA sets new standards towards full automation. Product safety, product traceability and standardization are thus the main focus of LASKA. These key issues are also reflected in the innovations of the meat sector. Visitors saw innovative manufacturing systems including hygiene solutions at their fingertips.

    MSP MAGAZINE: DID THE NUMBER AND THE QUALITY OF THE VISITORS MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS?

    With a share of 66 percent of international visitors, IFFA 2016 reached a peak. The strong international interest was also noticed at the LASKA booth. Around 80% of the visitors from more than 95 countries came to see the LASKA product range, among them visitors from Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, China, the USA, Japan, and Australia, but also from the Russian Federation and the Ukraine, which was especially gratifying given the difficult economic situation in these countries.

    MSP MAGAZINE: WHAT ARE YOUR GROWTH TARGETS FOR RUSSIA AND CENTRAL AND EASTERN EUROPE?

    It is difficult to forecast the coming months in terms of the development of the CIS countries. We expect some exciting projects in Eastern Europe and Russia and thanks to our great partners we will be well represented in future.

    MSP MAGAZINE: WHAT CHALLENGES DO YOU FORESEE IN THE MONTHS AHEAD?

    The challenge is that the tense political situation in Russia still allows no relief. But IFFA has given us the confidence that the Russian market is already on its way to recovery.

    We will take the positive energy, the new impressions and the valuable feedback of our customers to improve our products and to get ready for exciting new projects.
