Sausage Separating Technology for the Accurate Separation of a Wide Range of Products

The Handtmann Inotec sausage separating technology is optimally suited for the precise, fast and automated separation of a wide range of sausage types in artificial, collagen or natural casing. It is extremely flexible in use for both small and large calibre products. Exemplary applications include sausage products, meat substitute sausage products, soup inserts, confectionery and pet food sausage products. The patented dual-sensor technology guarantees reliable detection of the linking position for all products and ensures accurate separation with precise cutting quality, because the accurate detection of the linking position provides a precise cutting point for the three-edged sickle blade. Furthermore, the cutting point and automatic cutting point detection can be flexibly adapted to the product on the touch control. The servo-driven three-edged sickle blade thus ensures a particularly fast cutting sequence and a continuous production process. The WT99-iT models can therefore achieve up to 1,800 cuts per minute, which renders them perfectly suitable for industrial use, covering the range of processing sausage products in natural, collagen and artificial casings with a calibre of 8 to 105 mm. Adaptation of the infeed and outfeed belts to the respective calibre is easily carried out via the digital touch control. Thanks to the patented dual-sensor technology, even particularly short sausages starting at a length of 24 mm can be precisely separated.

The WT99-iT model series offers the suitable separating technology for every type of sausage. The WT99-iT-SA with automatic calibre setting and a separating capacity of up to 1,800 cuts per minute is suitable for calibres 15 to 55 mm and product lengths from 50 mm. The WT99-iT-B with automatic calibre setting is suitable for large-calibre products from 37 to 105 mm and product lengths from 150 mm and achieves up to 400 cuts per minute. The entry-level model in sausage separating technology with manual calibre setting, the WT99-iT-M, is designed for calibres 8 to 48 mm and product lengths from 32 or 50 mm with up to 1,800 cuts per minute. The WT99-iT D is specially designed for the precise separation of cocktails of calibres 8 to 48 mm and product lengths from 24/32 mm and allows up to 600 cuts per minute. The WT99-iT C with a capacity of up to 100 cuts per minute is used for cutting and separating tied products of calibres 15 to 56 mm and lengths from 50 mm. The WT99-iT TWIN provides industrial top performance of up to 3,600 cuts per minute and a 2-lane cutting and separating process for sausage products of calibres 8 to 32 mm and lengths from 32 or 50 mm. The WT97-iT is specially designed for curved sausage products. A special infeed and outfeed system ensures maximum protection of the curved sausages and a high cutting capacity of up to 1,800 cuts per minute. Products in natural, collagen and artificial casing in a calibre range of 14 to 44 mm are reliably separated.
