The MSE 441 manual cutting unit, in conjunction with a VF 800 or VF 600 vacuum filler, is perfectly suited to the production of formed meat products and food products as such. Whether it be meat products, meat substitute products, dough, products containing vegetables or of other pasty or viscous consistencies – there is an immense scope for formed and cut products portioned accurately to the gram.

With this modular solution, the product is pre-portioned by the vacuum filler and fed to the MSE 441 manual cutting unit. A forming insert creates the shape. Cutting can be performed either by a manually operated blade or a wire cutter, in line with the product. The blade is simply operated in “flip-flop mode”. Changing the moulding parts is easy thanks to the plug and play system, which does not require any tools. Standard forming inserts with a diameter of 30/40/50/60/70/80 mm are available.

Diverse product shapes are possible, and product examples include meat on a stick, burgers, cevapcici, minced meat skewer, faux meat burgers and balls, sticks, bars, cubes, sheets, and much more.
