Innovation Leader Invites to an Innovation Circle on the Future of Food Processing Handtmann Draws Positive Conclusion from IFFA 2025 and Sets the Course for the Future of Food Processing

Handtmann Processing, a leading market and technology pioneer in meat and alternative protein processing at IFFA 2025, draws a positive conclusion from the event. The company succeeded in making its booth a central meeting point for both proven machinery and line solutions as well as innovative production structures. Handtmann also provided space for constructive discussions about future visions in meat and alternative protein processing.

The set exhibition goals were surpassed, especially in the area of new processing technologies. This includes the VF 804 S vacuum filler, developed specifically for the craft sector, as well as new, pioneering forming and depositing solutions that attracted significant visitor interest. The state-of-the-art grinding, mixing, and emulsifying systems for product preparation also received high acclaim. True visitor magnets were the FME production solution for alternative protein whole cuts and the ConProSachet system for products in alginate sachets.

Romina Müller, Vice President Sales & Marketing at Handtmann and responsible for global market operations and the progressive exhibition presence, offers a positive summary: “Ongoing internationalization and the active development of new markets are of central importance to us. IFFA provided the ideal platform to present our innovations to an international professional audience. We were pleased to observe a high willingness to invest, particularly in innovative, cross-process, and digitally supported production approaches.”

CEO Harald Suchanka is purposefully focusing the company on forward-looking innovation. “As a bold innovation leader, we want to offer our customers more – the vision of integrated processing based on data-driven process intelligence,” explains Suchanka. This vision has already been successfully implemented with the Morpheus project and presented for the first time at IFFA. “Morpheus, in particular, has met with extremely positive response from our large industrial customers,” Suchanka continues. “We are very grateful for this trust and invite our customers to actively shape the future of food processing together with us in an Innovation Circle.” With this approach, the company underscores its role as a pioneer in the industry and relies on collaborative partnerships to jointly develop innovative solutions for the food processing of the future. Müller adds in conclusion: “At IFFA, we aimed to provide crucial impetus for a bold future in food processing, open up new potentials, and at the same time offer guidance and inspiration for market-ready food innovations – and we have more than achieved this.”
