“Miratorg” Launches a Robotized Meat Packing House in Kursk Region

“Miratorg” Agricultural Holding put into operation the first line of the largest in Europe robotized meat packing house.

The deep thermal processing facility has been launched in test mode. The processing line will produce more than 138 ths t of sausages each year. In 2021, “Miratorg” will launch a pig slaughtering and deboning complex, and then the meat packing house’s capacity will reach 4.5 mln head of livestock per year, or 503.5 ths t of products per year on a carcass weight basis.

According to the press service report, the meat packing house is an integral part of the Agricultural Holding’s project for doubling the capacity of the pig-breeding division up to 7.7 mln head of livestock per year. As it was already reported, in 2017, “Miratorg” Agricultural Holding started building a meat packing house in Chernitsino village, Oktyabrsky district, Kursk region. The cost of the project was estimated at 68.4 bln roubles.
