Livestock Products of Novosibirsk Companies are Exported to 17 Importing Countries

Since the beginning of this year, the region supplied the former Soviet Union and other foreign countries with 158 batches of animal products and raw materials with the total volume of 4,886 tonnes.

According to the results of the first quarter of this year, the Novosibirsk Oblast exported around 45,000 tonnes of grain crops and oil plants, including 32,000 tonnes of wheat and oats to Mongolia, and more than 9,000 tonnes of rape, buckwheat and oats to China. As a comparison, the total volume of last year’s export was a little over 50,000. According to the public affairs office of the Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Monitoring Service, besides China and Mongolia, the quarantine products manufactured in Novosibirsk Oblast are also exported to Azerbaijan and the members of the Customs Union.

During the last year’s export of livestock products, the sales geography has expanded, and the Novosibirsk products are currently supplied to 17 importing countries. In addition, a significant progress is being made in terms of certification of new companies in the region.

Since the beginning of this year, Novosibirsk Oblast supplied the former Soviet Union and other foreign countries with 158 batches of animal products and raw materials with the total volume of 4,886 tonnes. As a comparison, this is almost 40% of the volume in 2017.
3,417 tonnes of livestock feed and other feed have been shipped to Mongolia, Vietnam, Germany, Ecuador, Slovakia, Indonesia, Tajikistan and Azerbaijan; 1,384 tonnes of frozen fish and fish products have been exported to Lithuania, France, Germany, the Czech Republic, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan; 50 tonnes of animal raw materials (furs, feathers, horns) have been shipped to Japan, Germany, Italy, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China; 35 tonnes of frozen products have been shipped to China, and 0.123 tonnes of final meat products have been exported to Mongolia and Tajikistan.
