According to the regional government, in October, “Agroeco” company plans to finish building a new pig complex in Voronezh Oblast with the investment volume of 1.4 billion roubles.
In 2011, “Agroeco” began implementing an investment project on building a modern stock-raising and meat-processing factory in Voronezh Oblast. Today “Agroeco” implements its project in seven districts of Voronezh Oblast. Recently, Voronezh governor Alexey Gordeyev has visited the pig complex of “Agroeco” in Troitzkoe village, Novokhopyorsky District, which is currently under construction.
“The construction is planned to be completed in the next month. The capacity of the complex is 80,000 head of livestock (9.5 ths tonnes of meat on hoof) per year. The factory can accommodate 43,000 head of livestock simultaneously. The investment volume is 1.4 billion roubles”, the report said.
According to the regional government’s data, the special thing about this factory is the modified configuration of the production areas. Instead of a complex with three production areas where the reproducer area and the growing and fattening area have a significant distance between them, there will be a single monocomplex combining a reproducer for 2,500 sows and areas for growing and fattening.
“Agroeco” companies produced 55,000 tonnes of pork in 2015. According to the results of this year, “Agroeco” intends to increase pork production by 49% up to 82,000 tonnes.
