The participants in “Rybpromresurs” salon at “Agroprodmash” exhibition have told us what will be presented at the booths this year, and shared their opinion on the trends in the market of processing equipment for fishing industry.
“Today, new equipment is purchased mainly by the big business, and the largest part of demand is related to equipping newly built shore-based factories for primary processing of salmonids and beloribitsa. This is mainly Kamchatka and Khabarovsk Krai, and to a lesser degree – Sakhalin Oblast”, said Artiom Komarov, Advertising and Marketing Manager of “Technologicheskoe Oborudovanie” company. At “Agroprodmash-2016” exhibition, the company will present fish and roe processing equipment, which is interesting to advanced processing factories, among others, particularly, the brand new roe separator that can be used for salmon, cod and Alaska pollock roe screening without replacing any units and aggregates. It also ensures a 10–20% higher output of salmon roe from defrosted skein compared to the best Japanese analogues.
Edward Lobyan, CEO of “Haarslev Industries” OOO, said that the main reason preventing Russian manufacturers from reaching the production level of developed countries was obsolete equipment. The company specializes in equipment design and manufacture, as well as in installation of special facilities for animal and fish waste processing. About 20% of Haarslev Industries production volume is attributed to processing of fish by-products. “There is a fish flour deficit in Russia. Official figures show that the annual demand for fish flour for the main customers (poultry and pig farming) is estimated at 420,000 t of product with only 80,000 t produced”, added Edward Lobyan.
“X-City” company, a debutant of “Agroprodmash” exhibition, plans to present at its exhibition booth a wide range of equipment for primary processing of salmonids: automated line for processing of salmonids, automated weight grader, roe separator, conveyors for binding and automation of fish-processing facilities, aquaculture incubators, substrate and other equipment necessary for fish farming.
The idea of participation of “NPO “Rybtechcentre”” at “Agroprodmash-2016” exhibition this year will be the forthcoming Program for Re-equipment of Russian Fishing Fleet. Together with Polish partners, this company will present a line for building fishing boats with full equipment at customer’s request, at Russian shipbuilding yard, and with Russian equipment.
In 2016, for the first time at “Agroprodmash” exhibition, the solutions for the fishing industry are combined in a single exposition – a thematical salon “Rybpromresurs” which will show best practices of the entire processing chain in the fishing industry – from catching of fish, primary processing, delivery, storage, processing to packing, transportation and sale. Many companies will participate in this exposition, including Marel, Bluher, Baader, Skaginn, “Technologicheskoe Oborudovanie”, “Rybtechcentre”, Rosoma, “X-City”, “Zhasko”, “Antes”, “Omega” Group, etc.
“Agroprodmash-2016” – the largest Russian exhibition providing technological solutions for 30 food industry branches will be held from October 10th to October 14th at Central Exhibition Complex “Expocentre”, Moscow. The exhibition is visited by more than 20,000 specialists from 59 countries. More than 700 companies from 34 countries present their equipment, ingredients and technologies for the food and processing industry.
